[ 展覽設計 ]超實用！一次掌握50句展覽監工常用英文會話

四月初，歐立利展覽設計監工團隊剛從德國漢諾威工業展Hannover Messe風塵僕僕回到工作岡位，接下來，又有一組監工團隊即將飛往位於中東的卡達──這是歐立利的工作日常，若看到同事拖著行李箱出現在辦公室，不是代表他要出國放鬆度假，而是準備出發迎接一趟展覽監工任務，通常行李箱尺寸越大，在國外監工的日期越長，肩負的責任也越重。

幾乎每週都有堅實的展覽設計監工團隊，出國協助企業廠商於國際展覽策畫攤位的設計搭建，只要有台灣廠商參加的展覽，就能看到到歐立利監工團隊的身影，我們就這樣跟著上千家廠商，足跡遍及了歐亞美非大洋洲(大概剩下南極和北極沒去過了……)，回顧一下我們的監工團隊去了哪些地方？

俗話說：「展場在走，利器要有。」展覽設計監工團隊除了專業經驗和專用工具外，最最最重要的當然還是要有與展會主辦單位、當地施工人員協調溝通的「語言能力」。英語是被最多國家作為官方語言使用的通用語言，雖說國外展覽並非所有合作人員都以英語為母語，但掌握基本的單字和會話絕對能使溝通順暢無阻。

本期，歐小編化身英文小老師，蒐集團隊在國際展場監工時最常使用的英文會話，讓你不用面對「礙在心裡口難開」的囧境，順利開展免煩惱！

Part 1 – Adjustment調整位置篇

◆Please adjust the height of shelf.

請調整層板的高度。

◆Please move the shelf higher/lower.

請提高/降低層板高度。

◆Can you put the showcase at the corner?

你能把玻璃展示櫃放到角落嗎？

◆Please move the platform to here.

請把這個展台搬到這裡。

◆Please fix the internet cable under carpet from here to there.

請幫我將網路線走在地毯下，從這裡到那裡。

◆Can you help us to put the main power box inside the platform?

你能幫我們把電力箱放進展台嗎？

◆This is in the wrong place. It should be right here.

這個放錯位置了，應該在這裡！

◆The platform should be here.

這個展台應該在這裡！

◆Up the right side.

右邊上一點

◆I want to adjust the spotlight to bright the poster.

我想要調整投射燈的角度去照亮海報。

 

Part 2 – Fixing Product 安裝產品篇

◆Please fix the acrylic by iron screw.

請用銅扣固定壓克力！

◆Please fix iron screw for me.

請幫我鎖銅扣。

◆Please make a hole like 6cm in diameter on this wall.

請幫我在牆上鑽直徑6公分的洞！

 

Part 3 – Graphic 美工篇

◆Letter “a” is wrong, should be letter “f”.

美工字“a”是錯的，應該是“f”。

◆I want to change this color to red.

我想要改變這個顏色為紅色。

◆Please call the graphic man to mount the logo.

請聯絡美工過來貼logo

◆Please help to stick / fix the poster.

請幫我貼/修海報。

◆Please make the poster smooth.

請將海報貼平。

◆Please scrape the bubbles which on the wall once again.

請再次刮掉(海報)牆上的氣泡。

◆The poster almost fall down.

海報快要掉下來了！

◆Do you know where can I reprint the poster?

你知道我在哪裡可以重印海報嗎？

 

Part 4 – Power 攤位電力篇

◆I have main power box in the booth but there is no electricity/power.

我的攤位有電力箱，但是沒有電

◆Please check the power for me.

請幫我檢查電力！

◆There are 3 spot lights broken in this booth.

這攤位有三盞燈不亮

◆Power is OFF now!

跳電了

◆The cable is in a mess. Please collect all cables well.

電線一團亂，請將電線整理好！

 

Part 5 – Something Missing 物品短少篇

◆Missing four spotlights!

缺少四盞投射燈！

◆I need two extra chairs.

我需要多兩張椅子。

※以下是展場經常短缺的物品清單，要特別留意：

Socket (extension cord) , trash bin, hook, kettle, coffee maker, shelf (glass shelf, wooden shelf), chair, lock and KEY!

 

Part 6 – Booth cleaning 攤位清潔篇

◆Take the foil out.

把地毯膠膜拿掉。

◆Please clean the carpet before show open.

開展前前請清潔地毯。

 

Part 7 – Show Period 開展狀況篇

◆The chair is stolen!

椅子被偷了！

◆The glass shelf is broken!

玻璃層板破掉了！

◆The shelf is fallen!

層板掉了！

 

Part 8 – Others 其他狀況

◆I can’t find my booth, can you show me the location on your floor plan?

我找不到我的攤位，可以請你在你的平面圖指出位置嗎?

◆I am in Hall 22, D22. Can you come here now?

我現在在22館D22攤位，你可以現在過來嗎？

◆I would like to rent furniture, may I see the catalog?

我想租用家具，我可以看一下目錄嗎？

◆Where can I find the Hall inspector?

我在哪裡可以找到展館檢查員？

◆I will come back after five minutes.

我五分鐘後回來！

◆Can you lend me the ladder?

可否借我梯子？

◆Can you speak slowly?

可否講慢一點？

◆When will you start to build the booth?

你何時要開始搭建這個攤位？

◆We are running out of time! Please hurry up!

時間不夠了！請快點趕工！(焦躁ing)
